They both looked at Amma for a resolution.
"Yes, the game ends. That's how it works", Amma said
Gautham is too young to understand the socio-political affairs in India in 2021 - so he believes the mother when she says that the game ends when the King is killed. As he grows older he will realize that India survived 2021 because the subjects continued to fight even when the King failed - that Amma was not right. Until then, I am safe
